Sploid And The Great Blog Madness Sale

Back in the seminal days of blogging I was a big fan (and still am) of Matt Welch who now has a full-time gig at Reason magazine. He used to run in the same circles as Nick Denton of Gawker and another writer named Ken Layne. Now it appears Layne and Denton have joined forces and created Sploid which appears to take a centrist Matt Drudge approach to news gathering with UK tabloid stylings. It's about time someone had an answer to that ridiculous Drudge siren.
