New Site From Me: Spring Hill Restaurant & Bar

springhill

For various reasons I am lucky enough to know a lot of chefs and restauranteurs in Seattle. And this allows me to combine my two loves of food and design into various side projects throughout the year. My latest is a website for Spring Hill in West Seattle. This was a fun project and I’m really starting to feel more comfortable behind the camera. I’ve still got a ways to go before photography feels like second nature to me, but the results are getting better and I think this site is a good example.

And then there’s Spring Hill. This restaurant kicks ass! Mark and Marjore Fuller are doing something really great here and I recommend this place without any reservations. (And they’re both really cool peeps too.) I’m guessing Spring Hill will be working it’s way into my Seattle Top 5 as soon as I can finish trying everything on the menu. (Going tomorrow night.)

Check out the site and check out Spring Hill as soon as you can.

Really great site — I think your restaurant projects are getting better and better, as you go along. The integration of the photography into the design is also wonderful. Strong work.

Thanks Matt. It was a fun project. (And I got to eat all the food in the photos.)

Like the photos/design. Not sure I’m feelin’ the navigation.

But the food looks freakin’ redonkulous. I wonder if they mind crying babies?
