Samples of mostly recent work. Despite the title of Web Designer, I do tend to extend my skills into other areas. I've always been a generalist. I also have a day job at a fancy graphic design agency, so most of the work you see here takes place at night with a glass of wine or two. The benefits of wine are many. Have a look...
Tavolàta is a new addition to Seattle's Italian restaurant scene that features a giant communal table, delicious food and a handsome modern interior.
Before settling in to my design career I spent years in the restaurant industry. Part of me will always be drawn to food and wine and the industry in general, so I decided to start a Seattle food blog and website community. It's called Urban Dish and I have to say, it's my favorite project thus far. I conceived and designed the whole thing, but I couldn't have brought it to fruition without the help of my good pal Paul Mealy at InsideDown. He's the guy that makes all the php and database magic run smoothly behind the scenes.
Update: Sadly, I had to shut down the Urban Dish site do to lack of free time.

Foster & Dobbs is a specialty cheese and wine shop in Portland owned by Luan Schooler and Tim Wilson. I actually met Tim when I was 16 working as a graphic designer for the city of Juneau, Alaska. 20 years later he called and said he needed a website for his new shop. This was a fun job and included an all-day cheese photoshoot. So much cheese, so little time.
Thierry Rautureau is arguably Seattle's top chef. So naturally I jumped on the chance to design the new website for Rover's. In addition to several photo shoots where I got to hang out in the kitchen on a busy Saturday night, I also got to spend time with Chef Rautureau in his garden drinking Rosé and learning more about his passions. He's an inspiring guy, and funny as hell.
